First of all, when you get there, make sure you go up. We some how went in the wrong way and saw the furniture you build yourself first. Let me tell you, seeing a desk is not the same as seeing one bin with legs, another with a top, and another with the drawers. Even the chairs were broken into multiple pieces.
Second of all, know that when you go upstairs you aren't expected to grab what you see. You are supposed to write it down. Then, you go back to the build it yourself furniture or you give it to someone (I think) to get it for you.
The last thing I learned is like most big places (BJ's and Sam's) they don't have bags, so either take bags with you or be prepared to spend $.65 for a bag. I didn't realize we needed bags until our person was sliding the stuff down to the end to bag. Oops!
The beginning of our trip was intimidating, but by the end I think we both felt like the next trip would be 100 times better. Since we wore ourselves out, we decided to reward ourselves with lunch at a famous Georgia landmark - The Varsity! Thankfully, we beat all the Georgia and Alabama fans and didn't have much of a wait. If you ever visit Atlanta, you will definitely want to eat there (Unless you are a health nut).
After The Varsity, we started to make our trip home. I love my husband dearly, but I don't know about you other married people, every time we go on a trip, I spend a lot of time looking down and gripping the door. There were several times today that I thought for sure he was going to not brake quick enough. I know it's a sad thing, but it's true. I probably should drive, but the funny thing is I hate driving! We finally made it to the store, grabbed a few groceries, and headed home for afternoon naps and football (Yay!)
Now, I have my Elf on the Shelf pictures ready to share, but I'm going to save that for tomorrow. I created a quick freebie that I'd rather share. It's a winter math center working on word problems. I feel like I haven't offered anything new lately, so I threw this together tonight. This one is heavy on the color, but technically you only have to print 6 pages, so hopefully it will be worth it. I print a lot of items in black and white, but I think this will be one I do in color. I hope you like it! Click HERE to go get it!
Have a great Saturday and I will definitely be back tomorrow night. It may be a longer than usual post. I'm hoping Farley's Currently is up. I love doing them! They make me smile every time.
